Z’s BackYard Art and Talk 2019 Summer Festival
All Events are Free
Z’s BackYard Art and Talk Festival is an intergenerational and intercultural community-based initiative which aims to create space for artists and presenters from all walks of life, outside all institutions.
We wish to encourage artists and communities originally from “here” or originally from “there” to tell their stories through creation, art and conversation.
We wish to encourage outspoken artists to share their stories and creativity without fear of judgement and without being inhibited by mainstream politics.
We wish to encourage community; to come together with neighbours and friends to eat together, create together, discuss with each other.
Z likes to teach, learn and share generously.
Z likes to remember.
We are organizing events every Thursday evening from June 13th to August 22nd, 2019. Each event will include a vegan dinner, followed by presentation, workshop, discussion or film.
